I just bought the Subspace Hypertheme, after installing it I rebooted as it asked me to, but now when I click "Apply Hypersuite" I get an error popup saying this: Unable to get default theme. Please try to reinstall Hyperdesk. I did try reinstalling yet I keep getting the same error, I use Windows XP Here is a picture of my error:

Hi, I think the reason this is happening is your "Windows XP.theme" file is missing. I will email you a copy of mine and we can see if that fixes you up. --Caleb |

Hello! My order number is 34540450 and it worked Caleb, the theme you sent me worked perfectly, thank you very much! edit: oh, one last issue(I think) when I use the Dark color theme my firefox bottom bar doesn't show what URL I have my mouse arrow over, like when I put the pointer over the google.com shortcut it doesn't show the URL on the lower bar, it's all black, on the Alloy version it shows because the lower bar is grey, is there a way to change the colors of that in the Dark one? |

No there isn't due to the nature of the black status bar and the fact that we can't control the font color in Firefox. One of the downfalls of dark or black themes is sometimes other applications have an issue here or there. If someone ever does a firefox theme that corrects it and that looks great, we'll link to it. -------------------- Jeff Schader

To fix this issue do the following. 1. Download the "Windows XP.Theme.zip". You can find it HERE (this will be Windows XP.Theme.ZIP) 2. You will need to place it in your "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\" directory. 3. Remove the ".zip" so the file name is now "Windows XP.theme" (note you will need to be able to view files extension. To disable hiding the extensions go to "Tools->Folder Options...". Go to the "View" tab and ensure the "Hide Extensions of known file types" is NOT checked. ) 4. Finish by restarting the Hyperdesk application. --Caleb |

I think this goes under the same topic... I'm running Xp SP3 and i meet all the Requirements. When i press Apply Hypersuite it freezes my mouse like it should and it loads for about 5 secs, then i get a windows popup saying something like "*Name for application here* has run into a problem and must be terminated"... Any ideas why? *EDIT* If its any help heres the info windows gathers for the problem: AppName: hyperdeskengine.exe AppVer: 1.0.2.0 ModName: unknown ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 042a6335 |
