How about telling us what the error is so we don't have to guess? When in the installation does it occur. What does the error say? Are you on XP? What service pack are you using? You realize it does not work on Vista correct?

Please make sure to tell us your order number.

the error is "Error 1609. An error occured while applying security settings. /Users is not a valid user or group. This could be a problem with the package, or a problem connecting to a domain controller on the network. Check your network connection and click retry, or C..." then i cant see more. it is at the end of the installation. i have xp service pack 3.
