I just downloaded the Star Trek audio remote widget, but I'm getting an error when it tries to open. It's saying that my media library may be corrupted. I followed the instructions concerning a problem playing a wmp playlist, but I'm still getting the corrupted error immediately. I changed the settings to open iTunes instead and got the exact same error. This time my iTunes application opened up, but not the widget remote player.

Try redownloading the widget after downloading the old one. Make sure you're up to date with the latest Yahoo! Widgets build.

Then it has to be an issue with iTunes or WMP 11. The widget has been downloaded a lot and we're not seeing the error. Try downloading some of the other free ones here and see if you get the same issue. If you do, then its something on your end: http://www.hyperdesk.com/desktopextras.php
