Windows XP Enhancement Applications
There are some wonderful applications that can help extend customizing your desktop even further than Hyperdesk. Listed below are some of our favorite applications. A lot of these applications’ functions will be developed in-house by The Skins Factory for our Hyperdesk application. Until then, these are 100% free to the public, so we encourage you to give them a try.

Yahoo! Widgets Download
The Skins Factory uses Yahoo! Widgets when creating our exciting Windows Media Player 11/iTunes audio remotes for some of our Windows XP Hypersuites. If you buy or download a hypersuite that includes a Yahoo! Widget audio remote, you need this application before installing the desktop theme. We recommend the manual installation below the main installation option.

RocketDock Download
RocketDock is an application launcher that users can customize with various shortcuts to applications or folders. In some of our releases, the hypersuites contain an "extras folder" that contain the .png image files for the icon sets for that particular desktop theme. This allows you to customize your dock with our icons to match the theme.

Y'z Shadow Download
Y’z Shadow is software that adds a shadow effect to the windows, menus & mouse cursors of Windows XP. You can see it in action in the screenshots of our desktop themes. We recommend setting the “Offsets to an inner side” setting in the Drop Shadow tab to “2”. Unfortunately, the creator of the software has long abandoned updating it, so there is no tech support for this application.

Styler Toolbar Download
Styler allows you to enhance a lot of features in Windows XP, but by far our favorite feature is the Window Shade, which allows you to “roll up” your windows to the Title Bar. Styler has a drop shadow feature, but we recommend Y’z Shadow. Another feature is the ability to change the look of your toolbars. Recommended for people who have a good understanding about PC customization.
